➋ What to do in case of fire

1. Take immediate action.

   If you see smoke or fire, call 119, shout “Fire!” to alert others, and press the fire alarm/emergency bell.

   2. Describe what is happening
   3. Whether anyone is injured
   4. Follow the dispatcher’s instructions </aside>

3. Decide whether to put out the fire or evacuate.

   Put out the fire

   1. If it’s a small fire that has not reached the ceiling, use a fire extinguisher or a bucket of water to extinguish it quickly.
   2. Fire extinguishers are located in the hallway on each floor. Please refer to the layout map above. </aside>

   Evacuate

   1. When passing through flames/smoke, cover your body and face with a wet blanket or towel.
   2. If there is heavy smoke, cover your nose and mouth with a wet towel and move in a low posture.
   3. Evacuate safely to ground level via the stairs.
   4. After evacuating, confirm everyone’s whereabouts and inform firefighters of the number of people left behind and the last known location. </aside>
